Jinji Lake Community Health Service Center (JLCHSC) in SIP opened a new branch at Zhaojiagang Neighborhood Center in SIP’s Hudong sub-district on July 28. With a total floor area of over 3,000 square meters, the new branch is equipped with 30 beds and advanced medical equipment to serve over 60,000 residents in 28 nearby communities.
The JLCHSC branch, the biggest grassroots medical organization in Hudong sub-district, offers comprehensive medical and healthcare services including physical checkups, vaccinations and disease treatment.
“It will later establish a cooperative mechanism with Children’s Hospital of Soochow University and Suzhou Municipal Hospital so that the hospitals’ pediatricians, gynecologists and obstetricians can offer medical services here on a regular basis,” said Chao Weinong, director of JLCHSC.
It is learnt that SIP authorities have invested more than RMB 4.7 billion in medical and healthcare projects since SIP’s founding 26 years ago, and plan to invest more in the future. A number of hospitals and health service organizations are on the schedule.
